Title: 1848 Poll Book added Post by Forum Admin on Apr 27th, 2006, 4:16pm Data has been added for all those people within the Sheffield & Rotherham Polling Districts who were eligible to vote in the 1848 West Riding election between Sir Culling Eardley representing the Whigs and Edmund Denison representing the Conservatives.  The database includes their full name, residence and who they voted for (if they voted) and can be searched via the site's Data menu (Poll Books) or using the Global Search facility.
