Title: 1911 Trade Directory now completed Post by Forum Admin on Mar 15th, 2006, 3:13pm White's Directory of Sheffield & Rotherham for 1911 has now been completed and contains 38,749 entries.  Although typically only trades people are listed it is nevertheless a very valuable source of information as the availability of the 1911 census is still some years away.  Thanks to all the transcribers that were involved and a special thank-you to Mich for a Herculean effort in helping to bring it to a conclusion.
